pjbiker posted : Thanks Lamiel. I have always taken reponsibility for my actions. Good or Bad and have never understood why alot of people don't. Hell we ALL make mistakes every now and then why get mad about it and try to blame someone else.. Silly how some people think.. Must of been how i was raised.... Ha :) For the Price and Service there is NO other company out there that can come close to Millenicom..

Lamiel posted : I, for one, didn't think you were complaining at all. Not a bit. The fact that you still consider Millenicom a great company tells me that you take responsibility for what happened, and I'm glad to hear that you're not blaming them for the cancelation. A lot of folks tend to rant and shake their fists when they've had their wrist slapped, so it's refreshing to encounter someone who doesn't. Now that you know how to keep track, I wish you the best of luck on getting a new account!
--
Core2Quad Q9450 @ 3.4GHz, XFX 780i SLI mobo, MSI GTX 560 OC, 4GB Patriot Viper DDR2-1066, Samsung 20x optical, Samsung F3 1TB HDD, Antec TP3 650 watt PSU, CoolerMaster Centurion 5 case, Win7 Home Premium 64 bit...

pjbiker posted : I did 66Gb last month and got terminated. I'm retired with alot of time on my hands so i watch alot of you tube videos all day...and other things. I had been with Millenicom for 2 months prior.I did 13 Gb's the previous month and was wondering how many Gb's i would use if i watched vids and then downloaded a bunch of music and streamed a few movies updated my GPS etc. Well i found out at the end of the month and got the Boot. :( Now i'm just using the free slow FAP internet connection i have at the RV park i live in. ( Tengointernet ) But since then i have found a website where i downloaded a Free Bandwidth Monitor that tracks how many GB's you use. it's called BitMeterOs »codebox.org.uk/bitmeterOs Works Great So maybe someday they will let me back if i dont find something close to me. Millenicom is a Great company and i sure do miss them 10Gb + download speeds.. lol

cbobby posted : As posted at the top of the page....Daily Updates...here'e the skinny and what's at stake...Profits profits profits....unrestrained profits. They will not give it up.

From the WSJ:

More than half of all U.S. cellphone owners carry a device like the iPhone, a shift that has unsettled household budgets across the country. Government data show people have spent more on phone bills over the past four years, even as they have dialed back on dining out, clothes and entertainment—cutbacks that have been keenly felt in the restaurant, apparel and film industries.

The tug of war is only going to get more intense. Wireless carriers are betting they can pull bills even higher by offering faster speeds on expensive new networks and new usage-based data plans. The effort will test the limits of consumer spending as the draw of new technology competes with cellphone owners' more rudimentary needs and desires.

So far, telecom is winning. Labor Department data released Tuesday show spending on phone services rose more than 4% last year, the fastest rate since 2005. During and after the recession, consumers cut back broadly on their spending.

Families with more than one smartphone are already paying much more than the average—sometimes more than $4,000 a year—easily eclipsing what they pay for cable TV and home Internet.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Melinda Tuers, an accounting clerk at a high school in Redlands, Calif., said she already pays close to $300 a month for her family's four smartphones. She and her husband have cut back on dining out, special events and concerts to make room for the bigger phone bill.

Her household may soon have an even bigger hole to fill. Two of the Tuers's smartphones are on unlimited data plans, meaning she pays the same price no matter how much she surfs the Web. She has taken advantage of that freedom to watch TV shows such as "Covert Affairs" and "Grey's Anatomy" on her phone almost every day.

Ms. Tuers figures that she and her husband would need to scrape together more than $1,000 to pay full price for two new high-end phones or settle for one of Verizon's tiered-data plans, which she fears would cost a lot more given her video habit.

Lamiel posted : Well, I sincerely hope that you're able to get the information that you seek, and I say that with no sarcasm. In the meantime, these are our thoughts on the matter. I'm sorry if you feel that we're being unhelpful, but we are just sharing our opinions (and humor). I don't know how long you've been with Millenicom or how long you've been on this forum, but I can honestly tell you that we'd be very sorry to hear that you got your wrist smacked for going over your cap. We all know how difficult it is to deal with low caps, and I certainly have no objection to your question, but the bottom line is that it's better to be safe than sorry. This forum tends to be a pretty loose and friendly scene, so yes, threads can stray a bit from the focus of the original post when people start rambling, but that keeps things fun...
--
Core2Quad Q9450 @ 3.4GHz, XFX 780i SLI mobo, MSI GTX 560 OC, 4GB Patriot Viper DDR2-1066, Samsung 20x optical, Samsung F3 1TB HDD, Antec TP3 650 watt PSU, CoolerMaster Centurion 5 case, Win7 Home Premium 64 bit...
