Wireless bridging isn't going to buy you much in my opinion. Plus, your sister's PC probably has a "B" or "G" wireless card. You may have her buy a "N" wireless adapter (USB) and then replace your G router with the N.

Ideally, you would hardwire the second device to your WRT and set it up as an access point. Are you implying that you can't run a wire to the second floor..
both routers are several years old, do the newer ones(without going high dollar) have better range?
