Long term that might be the best... In the northern part of my county covered by another do nothing telephone company, the wired phone service was bought out by CenturyLink... and they immediately started rolling out fast DSL service... and good customer support...

I don't have "AT&T" resold. Copper is the only thing AT&T about my service.

Per 'TelcoData.us', my landline service service is provided by, "BANDWIDTH.COM CLEC, LLC - CA". A friend with lineshared 'at&t Yahoo! HSI Basic' shows up with "PACIFIC BELL" as the landline service provider.

I do not have a speed tier which matches either 'at&t Yahoo! HSI' (traditional ADSL), or AT&T 'U-verse Internet) ("IPDSLAM" ADSL2+).

First full Sonic.net, LLC bill from June, 2011: $47.xx.

I don't have much choice,since i'm out in the sticks and there's no other provider.Charter,the local cable provider doesn't even come down my road.

Comcast gave me a great deal for the first six months - an additional $6.21 on top of my cable TV bill for 15M/2M net service. It's quite a bit faster for short bursts though.
