<description><![CDATA[anon posted : pretty sure atdma is just that the cmta equalization on that carrier went from 8 taps [tmda] to 24 taps [not cable taps, EQ chart points for guesstimating locations of problems] but generally atma is going to be limited to a legacy 16 qam carrier for pre docsis 2.0 modems, not that it can only be used for those but that's usually the reason it exists since they do not support atdma.<br><br>The symbol rate is the key you could have a atdma 16 qam carrier, not sure why you would but you could.]]></description>
