said by Venom14:Ding, first Alliance Rogue to hit 90, first member to hit 90. Very nice. Now get that gear so you can power level us through dungeons . I was able to get herbalism/mining/cooking up past 200 last night. Talk about tedious. It stinks when you level faster than you gather, so you have to back track. However, tonight I should be able to hit 50 easily. It is nuts how fast you level going through dungeons now. |

You can get 1-300 cooking just by flying back and forth to the main faction cities. |
|
|
Think it goes over 400 now. Lots of turkeys though. |

Yeah, so the Thanksgiving event has a lot of cooking related to the holiday. the great thing about these recipes is that you can start at lvl1 and power level cooking to 300 (400 according to lothario) using just the recipes provided by the thanksgiving NPCs. That's nuts. Killing the turkeys is the slowest part, especially with this CRZ garbage, but at least you don't have to dump a ton of gold in the AH or scour the globe to find mobs for the next 20lvls of cooking. |

Yeah, that makes sense. What I have noticed though is that I typically level cooking along with my questing. Once you hit BC it is cake walk. You kill 30 ravagers there is 20 levels. You go to Nagrand, kill some Talbuk, Clefthoof and bam now you are 350. Then in Northrend, well that is a joke with cooking. All you really have to do is a couple cooking dailies and you are good to go. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, I am already going to be 90 . (That is if everything goes according to plan, which is will not of course) |

I struggle with questing in those zones now because of travel time. I usually dungeon my way through all of BC which sets me behind on all of my professions, lol. |

Faction change was a success, I'll be on Nathrezim at midnight tonight. Hopefully someone is online to shoot me an invite!
Oh yah, I got my Tailoring to ~300 last night and my Enchanting is still around 130...It's dumb that I am disenchanting stuff I'm crafting and the materials I'm getting are too high to do the enchants I need to level...I'm out of stupid strange dust and that crap is sky high on Kil'Jaeden atm. |

Well, once you get past the strange dust phase (I might have some on Immergruen) I recommend soloing lower dungeons for DE mats and lower level cloth that you can use to craft stuff to DE for the mats. I like using this wowhead filter for getting an idea of which dungeon should give me the best shot at mats. |

I have lots, I'm at 225 enchanting at level 20. Nothing sells on the ah so I'll just de all my stuff. Think I'm up to vision dust. |

Once I get past Strange Dust I should be ok, I have 6 or 8 stacks of Vision Dust and the other one that's near that level.
It's just bogus that the items I've tailored and am disenchanting at level 125 are giving me level 150+ materials...it creates a gap, oh well.
Quick question, about the server. Do people buy/sell game time often? My funds have been stretched low on my toons on this account and I'm not about to go to some site and buy gold. I'm selling my brand new Corsair mouse that I got not long ago for $60 bucks and was going to attempt to turn that capital into gold. |

My pally tank has enough gear to tank on this expansion for those folks that are in the 85-87 level (I'm lvl 86) that want to get a faster queue. Will do a non stop levelthon dungeon crawling starting friday afternoon to get as many folks through dungeons to level and gear.
Will be on for dungeons and leveling tonight as well. |

Since I got my faction change done last night, I'd like to join in on some xrealm dungeon crawling on the Mage. I'll be on from roughly 7:30 EST until around midnight EST. At midnight I'll be server changing.
This weekend I will probably be on from around 8 EST Friday night to whatever time my kid wakes up Saturday morning...then a couple hours during the day while he naps, then again Saturday night...rinse and repeat until I hit 90. |

said by McBrain:Quick question, about the server. Do people buy/sell game time often? I haven't seen any of it posted in /trade, so my initial answer would be "no". Leveling up in MoP will get you some gold. Even when you hit 90 there will be loads of content you still haven't seen, so lots of quests left to earn gold, and then there are the dailies. I just don't see gold being a limiting factor (this coming from a guy whose toons rarely have more than 10k gold... and normally have 2k or less. As soon as I hit 87 I'll be healing some dungeons again, and moving to the northern zone for my tailoring. |

Not to offend anybody, but I'm pretty sure one could correlate my behavior with in-game currency with the perceived stereotypical behavior of Jewish nation. |

the economy on Nathrezim IS awful. everything is overpriced ont he AH.
that's why I've made over 4k on selling retarded things on the AH in my first week there. hahaha. |

said by Jobbie:Sounds great! What class are you transferring? A Panda Mage. And Immer, I usually run with very low amounts of gold, too. Mostly because I'm both time restricted and lazy. So, I don't do much farming, and I haven't taken the time or put in the effort to manipulate the AH. Selling 60 days of game time would net me about 20k and that would last me a good while. |

36 hours, minus 7 hours of sleeping, minus 2 hours of being alt tabbed to break up the quest grind, minus 1 hour of genereal "I know its important to you, but you need to contribute to this family too"...
so 26 hours roughly... nine days if you break it into 3 hour chunks for those of you that couldn't drop a leave form from life for a while. |

I was thinking it would be in the 24 hour range. Sounds like I should be able to handle this from now to Sunday night... |
|

i'm gonna try to improve that time on my paladin, starting him today, but not gonna devote myself to the computer like i did for rogue first, and i need to clean up my desk. so many mountain dew cans and emtpy bags of chips... |
