[BC] Interpreting the ActionTec Modem Status page
I am having intermittent issue with my Telus ADSL going down every 10-60 minutes for a few hours today. I called Telus tech support but their staffs are not very helpful. (they say i should call back because was that everything is checking out fine from their end, and since it is intermittent, i should wait until it goes down and call them when it is down..) I am suspecting that something is wrong with my signal level. Is that the case? If so, how can I actually convince them to take me seriously?
You will probably need a service call. That shows the modem has retrained twice, you are building up some fec errors. Probably wiring issue. Was this a self install or a fielded technician install?
Thanks AnonTechEDM for your explanation. I'll give them a call again. BTW - This is a field technician install (with splitter) from 1997.
