An RCMP spokeswoman who also oversaw domestic violence files has been charged with assault following an incident outside a bar in Pitt Meadows, B.C.
Sgt. Miriam Dickson is charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, one count of resisting arrest and one count of causing a disturbance. She is scheduled to appear in Port Coquitlam Provincial Court later this month.

| Ya know, there's something about this incident that immediately led my mind to think of bum-fighting ... but with contestants who are trained in pain infliction, use of lethal force ... and sporting Tasers and billy-clubs.

Too many drinks dulls all reason. In her defense she was off duty at the time, went out for a few drinks & got into an argument with a patron. The arresting police officer was the guilty party for interfering. Then she did what any BC resident would do, when seeing an RCMP Officer, attack him.
Not Guilty I say. |
