| [TV] Shaw Direct-upgrading receiver. Am getting the LTSS from Shaw and they sent me basic receiver. I would like to update it to a PVR model as it looks like we can;t record onto our VHS/DVD through it (record one channel and watch another)
Wondering if , once the system is set up and registered , can I simply buy the new Shaw PVR receiver from Kijjii or Future Shop and plug it in or does it have to be somehow registered / activated through Shaw?
Not too sure whether or not you can upgrade the receiver with the LTSS program. |
