The issue I was talking about was specific to Rocky Hill/Newington where scottct1 is located. Are you also having a speed issue?

Its kind of frustrating, when it works good COX internet is great... but when you really want to use it and its crawling it is so aggravating.

odog posted : Ok, got the info. It was a partial outage, that caused peak-time speed issues between ~midnight sat till early this morning.

It only affected CT but should be resolved and speeds should be back to normal.

Only reason I posted is because it just sounds like congestion. I'm on another ISP but seen same issues too in Westport/Fairfield,CT with people with D2 modems.

When I wake up in the morning all is fine. As an example here is my speed test from this morning...

32.48 Mb/s down 9.16 Mb/s Up and a very nice 19MS Ping time.

But at night it looks like this...

1.37 Mb/s down 8.97 Mb/s up and nice 18 MS Ping Time.

I am a member of SamKnows for the FCC and these issues have been documented by SamKnows...

Anyone else having this issue? Where do I go from here?
