Ken I hope you do know not to post what you find is valuable on this site. We have seen way too many yahoo news articles where someone finds something valuable in an old house and the old home owners start suing to get their hands on it.

So, you are thinking some gentle warming will help get it open?

He got it opened, but he found a dimensional hole in which he got sucked into and then? The safe of the door closed, so now he's trapped until the next "new owner" finds the safe and continues the cycle!

I think I saw that on the Twilight Zone.

Not sure but it does make an interesting plot line for a corny movie! LOL.

Funny but no that's not what I meant. My wife's mother passed away after a 2 year battle with cancer so the next week or two I won't have any time for side projects like this. I'll get back to the safe cracking sometime in the near future.

Reminds me when a client of mine called me up right after she moved into a new house she bought (built in 1940s).
She said she had found what looked like a bond or stock from a company from 1960s written to be worth 100,000$.
She thought she had won the jack pot. (It was worth nothing).
