Re: TVersity and Ultra TV

Check the following on the PC running tversity

1) Can you see the tversity server from another PC (the tversity site should have instructions on how to connect)
2) is their a firewall running that could be blocking access to the software?
3) is the tversity software activly sharing? (on my version I have to reactivate sharing each time I restart the PC)

I restored my computer to an earlier time and it works fine now.

But now, anytime I try to watch something, it shows "Unsupported media file". Any ideas?

It's been awhile since I used TVersity but check the Settings menu for transcoding options. Try changing it to "Always Transcode" and see if that solves your problem.

I'd also reboot the PC after changing the settings. It might not be necessary but it never hurts.

What format is the file you are trying to play when you get the message "Unsupported media file"?
