To let you know how many heroics I've run, I got the achievement for doing them all on Oct 3rd. So, I figure I've done 25-30 heroics and still am short 4 pieces.

I've also done ~25 scenarios and gotten one piece of loot from them. If the queue wasn't 8 seconds and you didn't get 15 VP, they would be pointless.

Even with my loot complaints, I've managed to get to 461 item level. I will be 463 this afternoon when I buy my 489 Klaxxis neck piece. If somehow I could manage to get 3 or 4 pieces of loot before the raid tonight I could theoretically walk into MV at ilvl 465 or 466.

For DarkLogix: Give Arcane a shot man, according to noxxic, Arc is #1 and Fire is #3. About 6k dps separates the two in t14 BiS.

I think the worst run was a warrior tank ninjaing an agility trinket..

Rares are just to easy to kill at 90 now.
While doing lore walker's rep grind I killed 2 solo, then turned off npc scan for awhile.

It is working for me. In fact I considered disabling it while questing. The thing was going off constantly with some named mob in the vicinity. Killed the first one. But now I'm not sure how rare they actually are. I just know it has gone off at least 15-20 times in 5 zones so far.

NPC scan works for me no problem.

what are you talking about? I was reffering to not be able to get a tabard at friendly and using to gain rep in dungeons.

And talking about heroics.. anyone has been lucky enough to even see epics drop from last boss of dungeons? I've done them all maybe 2-3 times, no drops for anyone

Apparently they didn't want us to get rep with factions through the use of a tabard. They want it to be purely cosmetic. /fail

I'm not math major but, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to cap VP from dailies.

Grinding the rep to use JPs is pretty crazy, I agree with you on that. But, isn't there a JP vendor somewhere that doesn't require rep? I'm collecting JP pretty quickly and am going to sit at the cap for a bit if I can't find somewhere to spend them without being honored with a faction.

I started grinding Golden Lotus rep last night...did about 5 quests to open the dailies, then I did the 7 or 8 daily quests (one was bugged), and I'm still at neutral...I really hope there is some way to advance the reputation faster than this. It seems like it will literally take forever to get exalted if the only way to gain rep is to do 8 dailies a day.

Also, I did my first scenario last night...It was an arena type one with TOC type bosses...no loot at the end, but I did get some VPs and a 450 ilvl staff for completing a quest given to me when I zoned in.

When I heard "JP/VP vendors are behind rep and require dailies. Honored for JP, Revered for VP" I thought: that's somewhat reasonable. Okay, so JP isn't on the raider's gearing path right now (except for Klaxxi). Fine, I'll accept that. Then who's gearing path IS it on? The casual player who can grind dailies all day? What's his source of JP, running a billion scenarios? I mean, the JP gear is priced such that you have to run a fair amount of dungeons to grind enough (which is also fine).

Like ... I want a solid blue post on this. What's the intended use of these things?

As far as I can tell, VP makes more sense (slowly accessing the vendors about the same time you get enough VP from raiding to fill in missing slots). Using JP and VP for missing slots makes a lot of sense, because it gives you the choice of grind dailies or hope you get lucky in raids or get expensive crafts (as opposed to "VP for tier or bust"). Hardcore raiders will take all 3, but the more casual raiders can do whichever makes sense to them. Dailies give the raiders who care something to do on the off days (also a plus).

AND ANOTHER THING wtf is up with Golden Lotus for flasks and Living Steel for a belt buckle? Holy sheet.

Tailored PvP set works fine for heroics and scenarios.

Still somewhat cross-eyed at pet duels, but was happy to sell off extra pets.

I loved the rename vanity pet thing. I named my celestrial dragon "Frosting" to match to match my main (Cake). The girly girl side of me *squeaked* and I transmog'd pinks and blues to finish it off.

Tailoring and Enchanting were a breeze to max, cloth drops are plentiful and the AH is flooded with it.

3 GI bars = 2 bolts
High-Explosive Gunpowder (4)
1 GI bar = 1 gunpowder

Each gear = 2 GI bars

So that 22 GI bars or 44 ore. I have some ore and there is some in the Gbank. But if you have any mats it would help out.

I can make these. For some reason I thought the were eng only. Didnt think non-eng could use the cogwheels.

The materials that I was able to buy from the AH was super cheap. I've leveled Tailoring from 1-375 for less than 1,000g. And I'm probably looking at spending ~2,000 in total as opposed to 12-15k on Kil'Jaeden.

Nathrezim's economy is pretty much the opposite as my old server's as well, making it a little difficult for me to level Tailoring and quest to 90 at the same time. Leveling materials are hard to come by in the AH, especially when I need 70 stacks of Frostweave to level through Wrath patterns...Now that I'm at cap, I should be able to farm quite a bit here in the future, but buying out the AH and still being 60-70% short is pretty frustrating.

85, 86, 87 went pretty quick...88 took about 7 hours, and 89 took about 9....I spent some time crafting during both of the last two levels, and yesterday I ran Coren Direbrew ~20 times while I was questing, and I didn't even SEE a caster DPS trinket.

It was laggy at first, the initial quest area was pretty crazy but doable, once I learned to hurricane the spawn points har har.

I am taking my time leveling up my main. Reading the quest text, exploring, ganking alliance every time I see them.

Over all it's the best expansion leveling experience I have had so far. After 3-4 2 hour sessions I am now halfway through lvl 87

I like how big the zones feel, and how long the story lines in them are.
