Re: TekSavvy - glorified reseller, not ISP
I was on the scarlett POI, was part of that massive IP Address Problem over christmas, then a few more times with the cable going down. I didnt bitch, I waited, but the minute I could I jumped to DSL 25/7. Cable is what it is. On DSL 6 previously I had no problems with Teksavvy, but wanted more speed, so I went with cable knowing very well the problems tied in with Rogers. I was not dellusional, I knew what i was getting in to.
Back in 2007 I also tried to jump from Bell to Acanac, but after months of waiting and Bell Techns not showing up or screwing around, I was told by Paul to just go with Bell, so these problems are not new, and wont go away until we as consumers keep hitting the government to allow for more competition. But for the mean time, we know there will be problems, but we cant just give in like the incumbents want, not anymore.
