My parents don't have the new guide in Tenafly on Samsung boxes.
I have the new guide on the Samsung boxes in the Paterson system. It showed up sometime last week, don't remember exactly when.
The more I use it, the more I like it, but I must say that aside from the updated look, the thing still kinda drags. Tuning channels takes a lot longer now, like I stare at a black screen for 3 - 4 seconds sometimes before a picture shows up. -- And the on-demand menus (which are still the old style) are very very slow sometimes.
Also, the on-demands are kind of sketchy right now.. I get a lot of errors and have to try a few times sometimes to get the videos to play... never had that problem before the new guide showed up. |

Haven't gotten it in the Bronx yet either on any of our 3 SA8300HD boxes. But I'm guessing that it either won't happen that soon, or won't happen at all. |

CT was the first area to get the new guide on Samsung boxes. We are still waiting for it on the SA boxes. |

You must mean in New York, I assume since there's a crap ton of areas in NJ and CT that still have the old guide, the majority of areas from what I've seen. |

I think Suffolk County is the only area without Onyx on Samsung at this point, but I'm not 100% sure of where in NJ it has been rolled out. It is scheduled to continue on Wednesday on SA. The rest would be done after New Year.
edit: I was wrong on the Samsung availability. |

Do you remember how long since you got the update? As I recall, no one up here had seen it before Sandy.
I got the guide this week. I received a robo call a day or two before. They've had samsungs at the optimum store in Wappingers Falls since the summer. I got a few right before the digital switchover. |

Its live in beacon on the samsung box. Still the old on the old SA Dvr boxes. I don't have any of the normal SA boxes so I can't check those. |
