 | I have the modem in our living room and yes i have access to it. I dont know the model of this modem but its basically the dsl modem that telus gives you when you order their internet. I am wired to the router. Here is a tracert to dsl reports now that i get 16-30ms with no spikes.

 | Yeah that's typically what will happen when your link is saturated, although it could also be your DSLAM being overloaded. Why don't you log into your modem and see what clients are active? |
