1 edit | [Connectivity] Lag issues with Xbox Live (edit to add info) Hi all,
I've been having intermittent issues with lag while gaming on Xbox Live. It seems to have started a few weeks ago and tends to happen in the evening.
I'm located in Reading, PA and have Comcast HSI with a Motorola SB6121 (firmware is listed as SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.6-SCM00-NOSH). I also have an Asus NT56U router.
The Xbox is running wired and we also have a Roku device on wireless. I've got the QOS on the router set for the Xbox Live ports but I'm still getting lag while gaming.
The only odd thing I've noticed are T3 errors in the modem log and "Shutting down on signal 15" in the router logs.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Brad
Edit: Here's the signal strength page from my modem. |

 | I hadn't really been keeping an eye on it until recently. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago. I recently replaced an old modem with the SB6121 and also replaced an old router with the Asus. |
