[Speed] Horrible up and down speeds
new to comcast as of 9/28 (left ATT DSL that was rock solid for 10+ years). First two days had good speed and stabillty, but last two days horrible variation in speed (.75 - 20 mbyte down, 0.3 to 3.75 mbyte up)
I am in Wheaton IL. Have Cisco dpc3008 modem, May 17 2012 firmware. I have reset modem several times. Sometimes it is good for 10 minutes, but ultimately the speed is up and down and it makes the useability of the service pretty frustrating.

Am interested in any help that can be provided.
Your signal numbers are perfect. What level of service do you have (Performance? Blast? etc....)
12000/200. It was testing ~16000+ down and 3750 up consistently the first two days.
That sounds like the Performance tier. A call to Comcast is needed.
