Footnote - My upload speed has improved by about 10x better; they must have installed some new equipment at Riverside the other day.

Maybe they also allocated some more capacity from the legacy service to Exede 5 while they were at it?

As noted here,

it appears they installed new equipment since Riverside Gateway was shut down for both Exede and Wildblue users of it, and since I was assigned a different gateway IP.
