[IL] Frequent drops and modem resets

For the last several months my modem has been losing signal and dropping, sometimes every few minutes. I notice I'm not the only one experiencing this. What is going on?

Could be quite a few things, first one to look at is signal levels to your modem, can you goto »192.168.100.1 copy and paste the date shown there for signal information. Beyond that you may need a tech to come out and look.

Been having this same problem for over 2 months as well with no fix. Really sucks when you cannot stay connected for over 10 seconds when trying to download something. When not, about every 5 mintues..

And a lot of good that "escalation" has done. Still no evidence that they are looking into the issue.

I'm in Carterville il by marion, and i've been having the same issue. I'll be playing a game and then ping shoots up to 999 for 10 seconds and then it's back. I've also been experiencing normal pings then to 500 for 2 seconds ALLOT. This never happened like this until a week or so ago. I'm seriously considering leaving Mediacom after all this BS.
