White Lake, MI | Westell 7500 Port Forwading -> router admin page vs NAS/help Attempting to use dynDNS to access a iomega StorCenter NAS (*myhome.myiomega.com) through the Westell router (Frontier DSL).
Set up port forwarding as follows:
TCP Global 443 Local 443 Map to StorCenter IP (192.168.1.50)
TCP Global 50500 Local 50500 to StorCenter IP (192.168.1.50)
DMZ disabled
Static NAT disabled
When I go to *myhome.myiomega.com I am taken to the Westell Router Admin page (inside the firewall)
When I attempt from outside the firewall I get the following error: "Response error. 502 Bad Gateway. Response error, a bad response was received from another proxy server or the destination orgin server.
I am sure I am missing something obvious - would appreciate any help.

When you are outside you said you got

try it again but this time, but this time add in the protocol and or port number.
For example..
To access 443, enter in https colon slash slash your public IP or your domain name.
To access 50500, enter in http colon slash slash your public IP or your domain name colon 50500.
