[Cable] Is unlimited truly unlimited?

Or is there some sort of hard cap?

I am thinking of jumping ship from Rogers' Ultimate plan to Teksavvy's Cable 28 package, only I'm wondering if they'll cut us off after a certain limit, or get slammed with hidden fees, or get throttled - because it seems too good to be true.

Thanks in advance.

Unlimited is unlimited, no throttling etc.

You will not be cut off- as when TSI says it's unlimited, it means unlimited.

No limits I've seen. But the most our line has ever used in a month was about 850GB (wayyy higher than usual).

Cheers

as far as i know they still do not have any meter for cable users. your on the honor system. if you think your going to go well over 300 GB still buy the unlimited.

The worst that might happen is a rate hike if/when TSI determines that supporting unlimited subscribers at current price points is no longer economically viable.

It has been said that stats can be manually pulled. So if you give 'em a reason to find you they will. (ie pulling a TB on a 300 MB plan). Best to keep one's honour intact.
