Slow speeds, many sites not working... what the hell?!I don't know what's going on over there at Teksavvy, but many sites, most sites in fact, aren't working. Everything from LFPress, Youtube, Google, EZTV, nothing. Facebook works, but barely. DSL Reports isn't working either.
This is on top of the already slow speeds we've been getting lately.
Seriously Teksavvy, get your shit together or I'm going to dump you as my ISP. If I can get better speeds from my neighbour's open wifi, that's really saying something.
I thought about updating my flash, but I can't even download that since it's not working either. |

DSL and I have no idea how to post line stats or trace routes, but if you've been following the forum here lately, you'll see that I'm not the only one. |

There are no issues in London right now. Could you please post your information in the » /fo ··· avdirect so that we can look into your account and help troubleshoot the issue for you. Thanks. |

I called tech support and they had me adjust the DNS settings to 88.88.88.88 under 'preferred' and 8.8.4.4 under 'alternate'.
There should be a sticky at the top of this forum that tell people to try this if some sites aren't working. It would certainly cut down on the people that call in for the same issue. |

The latency of both those DNS numbers is far too high to use in Canada. You need to use working DNS figures closest to where the nearest servers are in relationship with where you live. |

...Lest we forget and obviously you're forgotten already. Something that should regularly be posted here for everyone to read. The areas with the most problems.
1) Ottawa 2) London 3) Mississauga 4) Brampton
There you have it the cold hard facts. Gee? I wonder if his problem has anything to do with being in London? Duh or d'oh take your pick. |
