Yuppers! And it will be a high-scoring game as well!

The Jets are a train wreck, it's true. As a fan of Tebow, I'd actually prefer that he not be given the starting position on this team. He's better off just biding his time and improving his skills in practice then hoping to get a better situation next year.

Amen. Give him some more practice time, and his better situation would be to go to another team next year. (Or maybe this year?)
Sorry guys. I know I wasn't going to talk about the Jets for a while...it's all footballdude's fault.

Philly/Pitt will be a good game I think, unless Philly reverts to form and turns the ball over 3 or more times. Manning/Brady is hard to beat in terms of pure entertainment.

Manning and Brady is like watching two highly skilled players, their skills MAYBE somewhat diminished by age, but, still, at the top of their game. Its like watching two great orchestral conductors guiding musicians through a Mozart recital.
Enjoy while you can. there may not be many years left.

Agree...their skills, knowledge of the game, and the way they can read defenses and adjust accordingly is pretty hard to beat.
I can't stand the Pats, but I certainly respect Brady as a player.
Not much of a Broncos fan either, but Peyton Manning (at least in my book), is one of the very best ever to play the game.

Tonight...Cardinals vs. Rams. This is what the NFL has to give to us the Fans? After the lockout, replacement refs, this is what we the NFL give to our FANS!!!

I guarantee its going to be a good game.

Cards are undefeated and the rams are coached very well and should be played against with caution.

The last few years I would agree with you, this game would be horrible. But based on both teams' performances this year, I think we'll see some hard hitting football in this one. Cards are probably not as good as their record indicates and the Rams are one botched scorekeeper away from being 3-1.

That would be truly something out of the twilight zone...and it ain't going to happen. He really should consider giving up football, and become a Pastor in a local Baptist church.
I have no doubt he'd be a winner there.

But he is a winner in the NFL. Atleast I think he is. It take some luck but to pull of what he did last year in Denver had to take some skills maybe outside of what we see as a normal QB.

Yeah, so he had a few phenomenal games. But when it comes to crunch time, he doesn't have what it takes. Elway is no dummy, and he saw that.
Why the Jets signed him is still beyond anything I can comprehend.
Like I said, a Baptist Pastor is his true calling...and he'll realize that, sooner or later. (Hopefully sooner).

College football would love to have a talk with you.

The kids not just a winner. Hes possibly the best college QB we have ever seen because of his unique skill set. Now we know that alot of that success will be dampened just because the Ds in the NFL are faster and smarter but hes got more than just a sparkk in his gut. The kids a blazing fire of try. At some point hes going to convince a coach/gm somewhere that he can do it. At that point we will see what hes made of.

If he fails then to the pulpit he goes.

Yeah, but this ain't college football.
I agree..definitely give him a chance in the NFL before he ultimately (and surely), goes to the pulpit. Amen.

Yeah, all I am saying is give Tebow a chance.

And if he ever learned how to pass, he's be a really good QB. (Is it weird to say that about a QB?)

Yes,
I still think he'd have a better chance as a running back. He can't pass too well, but he's a big dude, and he can run for sure.

Sanchez and Tebow remind me of Obama and Romney. One is running the Show now and is disappointing (to some). One might run the Show and there is a possibility HE might disappoint.

I think it was on Mike and Mike this mourning. They reported by someone ( can not remember the name) that the jets owner told the coach he wanted him to start Tebow Sunday.

Oh man, if that happens it's all over. (But I do expect it to happen eventually).
That's the whole problem with this thing. Why give Sanchez a big contract, and then bring in a media circus that is Tebow?
As some have stated before, NY fans are relentless, (Including me).
I't's already started. Yeah, why not give Tebow some more playing time, but if you yank Sanchez, and actually start Tebow, all hell will break loose. (Unless he wins a bunch of games, which I still think is doubtful with the O-line, the defense, and all of the other problems the Jets have). New Yorkers don't really care who wins the games, they just want wins.
This whole thing is just a joke. I still say bringing Tebow into NY was a huge mistake.
Ok, sorry guys...I realize I'm sounding like a scratched broken record.
Hey, how 'bout them Cowboys? Not!

I don't know if I've ever seen a QB take a beating the way Kolb is tonight. It's to the point now that I'm waiting for the Cards to get the ball back just so I can see more sacks.

I think Tebow would be a ridiculously good CFL quarterback. The CFL game is well suited to his unique skills. But, I'm assuming he likes making more than 60k/year.

Do we dare question Kolb's toughness now? Dude got beat up last night pretty bad.

We all know they gave Sanchez that money because he was mad they went after Manning. For the Tebow experiment to work you need an ownership that is willing to go all in and build around him. But that's mighty risky.
