hatefees11 @rr.com	hatefees11 Anon 2012-Oct-2 5:18 pm which router should i buy? i heard turbo boost doesn't work on docsis 3.0 modems i don't really plan on upgrading above 20mbit so docsis 2.0 is good enough i guess buying a refurb 5101u on ebay for $24 is my best option?

bluepoint join:2001-03-24 2 edits	bluepoint Member 2012-Oct-2 8:06 pm If you are in turbo plan, get a Docsis 3 modem. It's what TWC is recommending for Turbo, Extreme, and the highest plan. It's not that Docsis 2 modems can not handle Turbo's speed at the moment, its when they increase the download/upload speeds then it will be out of spec. I can sense the speed increases is coming very soon.
