| Coming back to FIOS I'm coming back to verizion after 2 years cause i had to leave the FIOS area to care for my ailing grandparents. I'm wondering what's changed since then. At the time i terminated FIOS we were still on IMG 1.7.1 i believe. I know you can now attach a drive to the DVR. If i want to do that at some point do i have to buy any particular drive? Also, i know there's a home server coming in the next few months. Anyone have anymore info on this? |

I definitely noticed the prices. I'll be paying $203 with promos and about $220 when they run out in the second year. I'm getting double play, Ultimate HD HBO, Movie completer, HMDVR, and two additional tvs. I'm also getting the 75/35 internet. I wasn't even paying $200 when i had it before and we had the triple play, extreme hd HMDVR, one additional sd box and 25/15 internet. Its still less then i'm paying now though actually. It'll still be less when the promos run out. With AT&T i pay $300 for triple play and every channel except for internationals and have 24/4 internet.
I'm wondering if it's even worth getting the drive expansion. I would be shocked if the media server has less 1tb of space on it |

Ok, might just be worth waiting for that. We will most likely get the home server, i read it will have 6 tuners which is great for us. We tend to record several things at once especially Monday and Thursday. |
