I currently have TW cable, internet, and phone. I will be canceling the cable in a couple of weeks and keeping the internet and phone. I was told that they will start billing me for the $2.50 modem fee.
I currently have the 10Mbps speed. I was thinking of buying my own modem. Do I have to upgrade to the next speed if I would buy a DOCSIS 3.0 modem? How would this work with the cable phone? Would I be better off just keeping the modem and paying the fee?
