When it doesn't get above 65 during the day, or goes below 60 during the night.

I finally lit my furnace's pilot light. Had to hold down that stupid PILOT button for nearly 10 minutes before it held.

I've had mine going on and off for a few weeks now, depends on the overnight temps. I don't like being cold at night when I'm trying to sleep. Really just depends on if you're comfortable. If you're cold, turn it on. If you can deal and wait, then do that.

I leave my Stat on Auto right now it will cycle between heat and cool depending on internal temps.

Same here. I keep my thermostat always on Auto and it will switch when required. I have been looking for a new thermostat that has remote sensor support. I love the one I have but I really need to keep the kids rooms up to temp at night. I could care less what the dining room temp is.

A quick trick I did was take the temp in the kids room and offset the t-stat by that much.

You probably want to turn the air on today because the high temp is going to hit 80.

Buying furnace filters today. Getting ready for that first fire up and that lovely burnt dust smell.
