| [DNS] Comcast slow/Timeout DNS lookup I have the blast (50mb/s) and can see this throughput when downloading from newsgroups. But, my web browsing seems very slow.
I suspected DNS response time and I'm fairly certain that's the problem. Using ns_bench » SBC DSL FAQ »How do I test DNS lookup latency with ns_bench? to determine the response times from the comcast and OpenDNS servers, I consistently see timeouts with the comcast servers:
