Most of the Ford systems, the Neutral Safety switch is part of the "Transmission Range Sensor". Remove the shift linkage, un-plug the range sensor, un-bolt the range sensor and slide the sensor off. Some of the vehicles require a "special tool" to align the sensor properly but it shouldn't be too hard to get it adjusted properly. Reverse procedure to install.

Book time I would imagine 1/2 to 1 hour.
