Re: [NFL] Week 5 Games Discussion said by Edge1:Philly/Pitt will be a good game I think, unless Philly reverts to form and turns the ball over 3 or more times. Manning/Brady is hard to beat in terms of pure entertainment. Manning and Brady is like watching two highly skilled players, their skills MAYBE somewhat diminished by age, but, still, at the top of their game. Its like watching two great orchestral conductors guiding musicians through a Mozart recital. Enjoy while you can. there may not be many years left. -- "The world is a dangerous place. I can't stand the Pats, but I certainly respect Brady as a player. Not much of a Broncos fan either, but Peyton Manning (at least in my book), is one of the very best ever to play the game. -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

|
 | I guarantee its going to be a good game.
Cards are undefeated and the rams are coached very well and should be played against with caution. |

The last few years I would agree with you, this game would be horrible. But based on both teams' performances this year, I think we'll see some hard hitting football in this one. Cards are probably not as good as their record indicates and the Rams are one botched scorekeeper away from being 3-1. -- Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty - Ronald Reagan |

 | That would truly be divine. |

jabarnutLight Years AwayPremium,MVM join:2005-01-22 Galaxy M31 kudos:2 | That would be truly something out of the twilight zone...and it ain't going to happen. He really should consider giving up football, and become a Pastor in a local Baptist church. I have no doubt he'd be a winner there. -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

I AMPremium join:2010-04-11 Ephrata, PA kudos:4 | But he is a winner in the NFL. Atleast I think he is. It take some luck but to pull of what he did last year in Denver had to take some skills maybe outside of what we see as a normal QB. |
|
jabarnutLight Years AwayPremium,MVM join:2005-01-22 Galaxy M31 kudos:2 | Yeah, so he had a few phenomenal games. But when it comes to crunch time, he doesn't have what it takes. Elway is no dummy, and he saw that. Why the Jets signed him is still beyond anything I can comprehend. Like I said, a Baptist Pastor is his true calling...and he'll realize that, sooner or later. (Hopefully sooner). -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

 | College football would love to have a talk with you.
The kids not just a winner. Hes possibly the best college QB we have ever seen because of his unique skill set. Now we know that alot of that success will be dampened just because the Ds in the NFL are faster and smarter but hes got more than just a sparkk in his gut. The kids a blazing fire of try. At some point hes going to convince a coach/gm somewhere that he can do it. At that point we will see what hes made of.

Yeah, but this ain't college football. I agree..definitely give him a chance in the NFL before he ultimately (and surely), goes to the pulpit. Amen. -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |
