They actually have "A Plan" that has no monthly fee and the rate is 5 cents/minute.
If you didn't know about it and didn't ask to go on it, then you're paying these crazy rates. Telus is basically going after the people that couldn't be bothered to ask about their options or look it up on the internet.
It's basically tiered pricing. 5 cents/minute for people that give a crap. 40 cents/minute for people that don't.. lol.
