What I don't understand about this story:
The teen had chains wrapped around his wrists and ankles and was wearing nothing but a hooded sweatshirt and a hat when he arrived on [xxx's] doorstep.
[Mr. xxx] told CBC News he cut the chains off the boy and drove him to a house in Bridgewater.
If a kid in that condition showed up on my doorstep, I would call the police right away.
I sure wouldn't plop him in my car and drive him somewhere else. The kid could even turn around and say that I was the one who kidnapped him.
Is there some explanation for this?
