 | Hi,
Only other service out here is Hughes Net. Don't feel like paying through the nose when we go over our "allotted" amount........
They sold me 3.0 mbps and deliver .20 sometimes....... |

| Well we've been "fixed" out here and our service is still lacking. Had to download another small patch for SC2 just now and was downloading ~200k/sec. Still only getting 2Mb when it should be 3. Atleast this is a bump from 0.08 on the downstream.
But no Aaron, Larissa... it's still not "fixed" guys. |

If you can't do that then go to the direct support section of this website and start a thread for Larrisa. make sure to provide as much info as possible. Sounds just like the response I got from a WS executive. Sure. Go to the direct support section which is closed off so no one can read any updates to this thread. LOL
Read the thread. Bagger has been in contact with plenty of WS folks.
Keep it up Bagger! And don't take this advice which only protects WS. Keep doing it your way. Had this been fixed a long time ago none of us would be responding here. -- -- DawsonvilleG

 | It's all well and good to say find another ISP, but many of us are here because there is no other ISP to be had.
Many of us also have Windstream direct threads. All the info in the world isn't going fix the problems with outdated equipment and windstream overselling and continuing to sell when they can't provide service for existing customers. My known issue has been going on more than 7 months. A windstream direct thread isn't going to fix that. They don't care (They as in windstream the corporate entity and not the CS reps) |

Keep in mind I only work the Public Forum so it will have to be via PM. Pat also bounces in and out of the Public forums, she may also be able to look into the issue if you would like. Keep in mind sometimes messages get marked read when they shouldn't, in which case I do not get a pop up for them. Eventually I will find the message and respond. But if it gets to be more than a day so feel free to shoot me another message.

WindstreamPremium,VIP join:2009-03-31 Twinsburg, OH kudos:33 | I have not received anything to the contrary. Victor, the gentleman we were speaking to, is out with a pretty serious cold. But I see the order still on your account.

| Prodious, send Windstream your info through a PM on here or through the Windstream Direct forum and see if they are working on anything on the other end of town. I thought they would be getting Cameron up and going before heading back towards Columbia but I may be wrong. I haven't been out your way in awhile so I'm not sure if they've been running any new equipment and/or fiber. I'm not familiar with how many units are in your area bro but maybe they can do some rerouting to get you back working. I know there are more people out towards you than there is at my house... maybe not everyone is feeding from one DSLAM.
Aaron, I hope Victor gets better soon! I told the wife to call me whenever the tech shows and I'll get some guidance to him if she isn't sure. But for our small house everything is pretty much straight forward. |

Each case and testimony will help out greatly in getting this covered by a local media outlet at which I"m trying to put together as we speak. I really appreciate! |

2 edits | reply to Bodybagger I have just noticed that my Attainable Rate Rate (Kbps): in the statistics of my modem has gone up so something was changed. Cant believe that yours is only 5488 down and 816 up. Going from the word i guess it is what is suppose to be available to get on the line, and a funny about that because i was told that when i upgraded from the lowest dsl speed, and i quote "you can upgrade from 1.5mbps to 12mbps for just $10 more with your plan." I was so excited that was available when i was getting it 2 years ago, but that was my first time talking to someone from wind stream on the phone. Now i know better. | With those stats Prodious you should be atleast 6Mb without an issue... other than the over sold DSLAM you are currently on.
Doc I'll post it on there now. I've tried to get WIS and WLTX notified of this service back when it was totally unusable for ~3 years. Nothing ever became of it and never had any emails back from them. I hope you will have better luck! |
