Comcast is actually using FTTH for their 1st offering, not coax. It might move to coax down the road though. It's based off their metro-e services right now. |

I thought Comcast was a FTTN (hybrid fiber coax provider). In our area, they use coax in the last mile (even though the system was rebuilt in 2003). |

Yes that is true except for the 305Mbps option that the other poster was speaking of.
I think they aren't doing 305Mbps on coax today due to technology maturity?... |
