We had never experienced the problem, 2 weeks ago we took a lightning strike and everything with a network cable or phone cable attached got damaged, and the 7232's hdmi was taken out via the TV that was toasted.
My Wife is trying to watch her recorded shows so we can get the box switched out, so it's connected via Component and playing, but NOW the unresponsiveness is most obvious as described in this thread.
Also had to have the router replaced, was a rev D, now a rev I. As well as the device with the battery in it.
Not sure that information is of any value, but there it is.
