Mike2009 posted : The older D-Links work equally well and are sometimes available cheap as refurbs. Other good alternatives are Zoom and Netgears that you can pick up for $30 or so. Unlocked 2wires also work well.

On the 15/1 but my modem won't sync at the 17mbps, was told my rco was to high making it unstable 90%, have the same modem also.

Mike2009 posted : Switch to a broadcom based modem which plays better on the higher adsl2+ profiles. You'll see better stats and should be good for the full upload speed.

dbv posted : I just switched to 15/1 DSL from 6/0.8. The modem (some TP-link) used to sync 5056/800 and now it's syncing at 17983/797. Upload basically didn't change at all. Does that sound normal? Actual speed tests on the net give me about 14/0.6 (used to be 5/0.6).
