How many channels do you have bonded and what package are you on? can you post your signal page?

Sorry no up or down channel bonding. Just using it as regular modem . Not sure Insight will support the up and down channel bonding.

They do for the higher speeds above 20 Meg. I have the 30 meg service and have channel bonding

looks like 8 channels but only 4 bonded

i'm in the evansville area and with the 10meg i had 4 channels bonded and 1 up. switch to 20meg and still have the same.

i was just wondering if they are bonding all 8

No, they are only using just 4 bonded channels. My modem is a Thompson DCM 476 which Insight gave me when I switched to 30meg/3meg up. It's the only Docsis 3.0 service. If you have 10 or 20 meg it is only on a Docsis 2.0 switch in my area. I'm not sure if that's changed or not.

Insight is only doing 4 channel bonding at the moment even though my modem is capable of 8 channel bonding. I believe the 6141 is capable of 8 channel bonding.

In my area, they haven't started bonding the upstream just the downstream.

I added some speed test to my previous post. I use a VPN service. This is insight's 20 Mbps 1.5 up.

Does InsightBB support this modem with firmware updates (anyone)?

I see issues over on the TW board about TW not giving updates to modems that are purchased by the customer and was wondering if Insight, now part of TW, had the same policy or not?

I have just purchased this modem and it's several levels behind on firmware.
