RegConfig Class IE add-on what for?

Just found this IE Add-On. The file is vzTCPConfig.dll. My AV does not complain but I don't like things running if I don't need them.

Can I disable it?

Well, if you Google it, you'll find references to it being from Verizon. If you are using a standalone modem/router connected to the computer by ethernet, you can probably eliminate all the VZware through Add/Remove programs.

The add-on is for the speed optimiser tool at:
»my.verizon.com/micro/Spe ··· zer/HSI/
the optimiser ask to install vzTCPConfig.cab
Yes you can disable it. I have none of the verizon software installed.
