Time Warner Cable TV/Voice → time Warner cable modem problem?

Helo everyone.
Last night the cable modem all 5 lights were flashing together on, off, on, off.
Unplugging, resettin, etc, nothing worked.
Over the phone they said my unit was not responding and set me up with an appointement in a couple days.

Today the modem is working. Should I still keep the appointement or cancle it?
I cant find anywhere online what the light code means.

I have a dpc2100 modem.

Thanks for the help, the wek before this happened the connection was always slow and choppy.
Before that it was fine the whole year.

This incident was going on all of yesterday, so I called. And they said like above and there was no response.
My friend thinks is meant data connection refused. No internet the whole time the modem acted like that.

Receive Power Level
-3.1 dBmV

Signal to Noise Ratio
32.4 dBmV

Transmit Power Level
44.7 dBmV

Cable Modem Status
Operational

During the day when it warms up outside, this happens.
But at night it gets cold and the modem never loses connection and can do anything online.

I have not signal levels from night time because I just found out how to get these from the modem.

Anyone know what might be the issue? I bypassed the splitters in the basement and directly connected to the drop into the house and this is still happening.
