| DVR glitch with new guide I have a Samsung whole house DVR box, and noticed that since the new guide was installed I've had some DVR issues.
First, the DVR itself is a bit laggy switching in and out of programs and back to live TV. It takes an extra second or two that it didn't before.
More seriously, I've had my box freeze up twice now when deleting programs from the DVR. Yesterday I had to reboot the box because it froze up after deleting a show (while I was recording another one), and this morning I deleted a show (while NOT recording another one) and the DVR froze briefly before rebooting itself. For what it's worth, my DVR space occupied was over 90%.
Anyone else notice this? |

Art they do fail eventually and while it might seem like its guide related such a thing isn't likely anything more than a coincidence. Clearing the obvious first have you fully power cycled the box just in case there is something "stuck" since the update and I assume your guide is the darker guide now as well right. |

I suggest going into the diagnostics (press/hold SEL until the led flashes on front panel (about 10 seconds), then press up arrow) and see if you have any hard disk errors reported. |

Have that issue too - had it set to record the Ninjago series on Cartoon Network for my kid and it instead recorded a different show on right after it. |

Deb that was prior to the guide update and was expected with the intermediate code. You have the dark guide now and should no longer have this problem.
