That's not really how they do the pricing anyways in comparison to the Euro (Atleast I hope not. Please don't be so expensive). Also, the ipod touch doesn't come in 16gb flavor.

ipod touch 5th gen 32gb = $299

The prices in the chart may be euro but that's how it'll be in USD. So we're looking at this right now

ipad mini 8gb: $250
ipod touch 32gb: $300
ipad mini 16gb: $350
ipad 2 16gb: $400
ipad 16gb: $500

A 16gb ipad mini for $350 wouldn't be bad if it was the same or hopefully better than the ipad 2. Hope it's really $300 for 16gb but I doubt it now.

Where do you see on the chart that the Mini 16GB is $350? The cheapest one on the chart is $450.

Yeah, the concepts only work if the tablet is under 13". I'm personally going to go for either the lenovo »www.engadget.com/2012/10/09/leno···nounced/ or the asus.

I like the dell concepts but i'm not sure i trust dell hardware.

I've seen some nice concepts for windows 8. Not 2 different OS but that seems more cumbersome than having metro and desktop for windows.

HP Envy 2 looks like something you might want to look at. But i've seen all OEMs, sony samsung asus have their own hybrids.

Apple's done a dock before, too. In 1992 for the PowerBook Duo line. I really don't see them doing it again. None of the previous dock-type devices have caught on, and I don't think they will in the future. Just my opinion though.

Normal tablets seems so incompetent ever since i watched the announcements for the touchscreen laptops. Ipad and nexus are mobile OS that are very restrictive.

I also like the laptops where you can flip the keyboard around and use it as a base for a tablet.

Use the laptop and convert it to a tablet when you need. It beats having 2 different devices. One for fun and one for productivity.

I think Apple may just be chasing lower price points at this time. I worry about that as they seem to be trending to sacrificing quality. If the soon to be announced 7" (???) views and functions as well as the larger one but costs 40% (???) less, sure, at the end of my current iPad's life I'd consider replacing it with a mini.
Too many variables to assess, so I didn't answer the poll, but I think the mini can (and probably will) cannibalize the sales of full size model.

They haven't changed much in like the last month. Everything up to a few weeks ago points to it having a camera and no retina screen.
