Netgear N900 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter

Not sure if this topic belongs here. Will this adapter work well with a different brand router like a Linksys?

If you are contemplating a dual band network adapter and in view of the fact that you have purchased a Linksys wireless router you should then consider a network interface that is far more compliant with the technology Linksys uses on their device like the Linksys AE3000

Cool. I couldn't find a Linksys wireless adapter like this one. I was looking at something like the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 mainly because it supports the Intel wireless display technology which my wireless card has and is dual-band. But that would have meant replacing the card i have with this laptop and i don't feel like cracking open the case on a new laptop. With this adapter i can have dual-band and if i want to use the other card for the wireless display i still can.
