Today's urban adventure takes us to the wetlands of Irvine and Newport Beach. Heavy overcast presented some challenges over and above those normally extant, namely the limitations of the photographer and his gear ... in that order.
Slow shutter speeds, low contrast (especially when using the doubler) and softness made for a lot of throw-aways, but a few were rescued through the magic of image processing.
Most of these are from San Joaquin, where I'd never been before. A couple from Back Bay.
