 | [CFL] Pricing Why is it pricing seems such a big secret?
The only prices on the Brighthouse website are the promotional prices - nowhere does it say what the regular pricing is. Neither does it say anywhere how much you pay for additional boxes - or what the difference is if I were to stop DVR service (which I am considering).
I'd like to be able to check my bill and make sure it's right but that seems impossible.
Anyone know where I can get a copy of the current pricing structure? |

Anyone know where I can get a copy of the current pricing structure? Our folks would be happy to review your billing with you by phone. Yes I realize I can call but it would be so much easier (for me anyway) if I could just see the pricing structure before calling to make changes (or not) - then I would be able to evaluate my options in advance (which would save everyone time).
Why is it so difficult to publish your pricing list? |

 | I receive a price list from BHN every year as a bill insert or separate mailer.
I will find my scanned copy and post it here so long as BHNtechXpert does not object given there might be some copyright issues? BTW... I only have the CFL version.

@l3x I haven't got one in years, and yes they should have price list on web site. There is FCC law (or was anyway) saying they had to have list on their site but obviously got around it somehow. |

@l3x Thanks - that would be much appreciated
I know I have received price lists in the past but of course I can't find them when I actually need it! |

@l3x No objections...make sure its current though and honestly every customer gets one in their bill at least once per year. As requested. This is the March 2012 Brighthouse Networks Price Schedule. This is a SCAN of the list I received in March 2012.

 | reply to BHNtechXpert Found this as well, why doesn't search on their site not show this? »brighthouse.com/static/documents/CFL-RC1.pdf |

 | Thanks Ameija & opp for the documents which are partly helpful.
Only partly because I still have no idea if the $130 I am being charged for Combo Plus is correct since no bundled prices are shown on the price list. Likewise I have no clue what saving I would make if I discontinued phone service.
Oh well, I tried. |

 | reply to stevedaytona Right now I have combo plus @ 110.00 per month. Again, this is CFL. Not sure if DB is considered same.
Good luck.

@l3x Yes, it is the same I believe. $110 is the price quoted on the website for new customers, that is the promotional price but nowhere is the regular price given. |

We have plenty of existing customer options....please open a direct forums thread and ill make it simple for you and have a regional specialist call you to discuss them. -- ~All truth goes through three phases. | reply to stevedaytona Honestly; I would keep phone service. From looking at my other options for phone service BH is the most cost effective. I also REALLY like having one less bill to pay.
For the Combo+ I believe it fluctuates; but is never more than $130. From my experience at least.
Like Xpert said; chat with a specialist... I am sure they will take care of you.

Thanks. I will do so when I am ready to change which won't be until early next month. Was hoping to get some info beforehand but obviously that isn't the way it works.
@ AMejia
The reason I got Home Phone was because my blind Father-in-Law was going to be living with us (this was in 2011). We previously had Lingo (VOIP) but didn't want him to be without phone just because internet was out plus our Lingo box had to be rebooted from time to time. My father-in-law will be moving out next month so the reason for having Home Phone will disappear and we will probably just go with using our cell phones.
So any reduction in our BHN bill won't be redistributed somewhere else to another phone provider. |
|
 | In that case you can redistribute my way... for services provided (I think that's a Community Chest Card)
