MJ Question 3 (non-ILEC phone provider)

I've read that MJ is charging on (or passing through charges from) non-ILEC phone providers. I've chatted with MJ and they cannot or will not tell me if the single number I need to call is free or not.

In another forum I found reference to www.tnid.us ti help with this issue. But once I get into the information, I don't know how to tell if the phone number is non-ILEC or not.

Does anyone here know how to find out if a phone number will be free with MJ? I won't be buying the device otherwise.

Thanks!

EDIT: Here is the info provided:

Original Telephone Company:
Verizon New York Inc.

Original Telephone Company Type:
Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC)

Estimated City:
Buffalo

Estimated Region:
New York

Estimated Postal Code:
14214

Equipment Location Code:
BFLONYMADS0

I've finally found a definition of ILEC that I understand and they are simply the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), and the info provided shows it is an RBOC.

I started to delete the question, but I'll leave it here for others searching.
