VegasMan Are We There Yet? Premium join:2002-11-17 Schaumburg, IL	5mbps is way better than most 3G. I usually get below 3mbps on 3G. But then my 4G is normally between 18-24mbps. -- In need of a Vegas vacation.

CCNnorthcali join:2004-03-07 Santa Rosa, CA	Carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile can easily achieve better than 3Mbps on 3G, but EVDO that Verizon and Sprint use for 3G is much slower than that. It's actually one of the main reasons Verizon has such a push to roll out AT&T, because their 3G network, while strong in coverage, is terrible in speed.
