On Windows 7, 64-bit, I had to go back to 306.23. After switching away with my KVM and returning, open windows shrank and moved to the upper left as if the resolution had dropped to 640x480. Nvidia says KVMs are not supported. I also saw an instance where an application (xnews) got stuck in always on top mode. I can't be sure the driver update was responsible for this, but I've never had it happen before.
Windows 8 doesn't like my KVM with either driver. (The card I'm using was purchased because Windows 8 wouldn't run an old card at full resolution. The new card was defective, just today back from RMA, so I haven't fought with it yet.)
I'm using VGA, not DVI, because that's what my KVM supports. |

Hmm. Does anyone know if there would be any impact to VM performance or compatibility with a VBox XPpro and 2004-era DX games with this driver? No, the game I'm working on a new Beta for isn't listed and never would be. 
I'm using the 306.23 now for my EVGA 560ti FPB and it's doing nicely, so I'd hate to mess it up.

I reverted back to 306.23 after 306.97 crashed for the 3rd time.
Win 7 Pro x64 with EVGA GTX 560

Using the new driver for a couple days now, nothing seems different so far. |

Using the newest '97 can't see a difference from previous, '23 so far.

I have had the 306.97 crash and disconnect from the monitor on 2 desktops that are using a Zotac gtx580. win7 64. The 2 laptops and 2 other desktops with different nvidia discrete graphic cards are working fine with 306.97.
Any ideals ? |
