AT&T and CenturyLink are both ILECs (Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier), and incumbents don't usually share plants. AFAIK, since SBC bought AT&T, they ("T") no longer offer CLEC service, which is what "Worldnet" was, in part.

A company called, DSL Extreme does offer CLEC service in many states. They even have a forum here:

She currently has CenturyLink telephone service (POTS), but they can only offer her 1.5Mbps DSL due to her location. Can you guys check and see what ATT can offer her? I tried using your website availability checker, but I couldn't look up her CenturyLink phone number and I couldn't get her address to work either.
