Re: LED lightbulbs While finishing my basement, I'm forced to have 50% high efficacy lights - The only lights that meet the requirement are CFL and LED. I despise CFL, so had to go with LED.
The best/cheapest dimmable LED for recessed lights I found is the $20 one at lowes.
