They say it was a printing error. My guess is that the call center rep was looking at a screen that showed the correct 117.21 euros owed, and that they just kept talking past each other and the call center rep never realized that in the customer's mind they were calling about a bill for a purported many trillions of euros. ie. they were on a different "page" about the amount of money they were talking about.
